Policy advice

The Fraunhofer Society's Additive Manufacturing competence field integrates 19 institutes throughout Germany, covering the entire additive manufacturing process chain. Our many years of experience from national and international industrial contracts and research projects form the basis for us to develop customized concepts and tackle complex tasks. We can support policymakers with the following services, for example:

  • Commissioned studies,
  • contact persons for the content design of future research programs in the field of 3D printing,
  • experts for round table discussions and/or panel discussions, and
  • Fraunhofer Morgenradar on current trends in additive manufacturing.
