  • Processing of steels with high carbon content using LPBF. 
  • Use of high-speed steel for the additive manufacturing via Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF, SLM) for the production of wear-resistant and high-hardness components, such as cutting tools or roller bearings
  • Successful processing of high-speed steels with a carbon content of up to 1.3 % with hardnesses greater 62 HRC in the "as-built" condition
